Consultations

I offer consultations for hoof care, diet & nutrition, facility and environment as well as fitting appointments for riding and therapy boots.

Everything is connected, and my consultation process takes into consideration the following eight topics: hoof care; diet & nutrition; movement & exercise; dental care; bodywork; veterinary & alternative healthcare; facility & environment; and relationship & connection.

It’s difficult to consult on one topic and not have the others come up. I will always address your priorities, and I realize we often have more control over some areas than others, but these are the main categories I will cover in a Whole Horse Health Consultation:

Onsite facility consultations help property owners and facility managers  create an actionable plan for herd management, mud management, manure management, pasture/paddock management, composting, horse keeping and more. 

The nutrition consult includes a comprehensive review of your horse(s) health history, current diet, and lifestyle - and recommendations to help you achieve your goals for each horse. 

Therapy and riding boots both have their uses, but finding the right style that works for your horse and the right size that will fit throughout the duration of your trim cycle can be frustrating. I have extensive experience with many brands and styles of both therapy and riding boots. Let me take the frustration out of boot fitting for you.

Cost: All consultations are billed hourly at a rate of $150/hour.
